I watched The Trilogy of Terror this weekend for the first time in 30 years with my wife Erin. She had never experienced the joy that the Zuni Warrior Fetish Doll bestows. Let's just say the movie doesn't hold up well (nor does Karen Black, for that matter). After promising my wife "one of the best horror experiences of all time"...I have officially lost my veto power on movie night. I sure can't wait for a grueling, six month punishment of Matthew McConaughey flicks.
The movie reminded me that I had started a series of favorite horror movie illustrations a while back. Here are a couple of interpreted images from The Shining (one of my all time favorites) and Salem's Lot.

RockaProgress?
Request to change the drawing, and have the characters looking at the camera. I need to stop noodling and finish this thing already. Man, I need to wrangle my values.

Rockabots Poster.
Working on a sketch...the only thing sketchy was me posing for these. Both my wife and my dog laughed at me. The goal: 1) operate on the drawing and b) to paint this mug in a week.
