It's been a long time. Wanted to see where this painting could go without any preliminary sketches...just started painting. This also gave me an excuse to give Painter 11 a whirl. Not seeing much of a difference with the software, really. I think this is a version most can skip...
I tried to save as many times as possible, in attempts to see where I'm making progress or just noodling. Here are a few lo res process (if you want to call it that) shots:
The good news is that while painting this I came up with an idea for a series...looking forward to that!
